The different characteristics of the plants themselves are amplified by skilled tea masters, who subtly tailor their tea processing techniques for each varietal + harvest, from picking → withering → tossing → more withering → heating → rolling → drying → roasting → WHEW, a whole lotta work goes into a cup of tea!
